The legendary Pen & Paper Thabor by Florentin Will and the Rocket Beans has been adapted into a video game. The Legend of Thabor - Rise of the Mages is a retro 2D action-adventure and tells a prequel to the popular role-playing game series and takes place several years before Thabor - Arcane Awakening.

Inspired by the old Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda and Metroid Prime video games, it combines the action-adventure, platformer, Metroidvania and puzzle platformer genres.

Simply unzip the contents of the .zip file into any folder. Then the included .exe file can be executed and the game can be played. Windows may classify the game as unsafe when you first start it. You can safely ignore this message and start the game. It is not malware or a virus! However, this warranty only applies to content that you have downloaded from this website.
